80 Scanning to a Computer

4. Close the scanner lid.

5. Press the

Scan button on the RX500 to switch to scan mode. You see this

LCD screen:

6. Press the top left button to select

To PC. Then press the OK button.

7. For Windows XP, if you see the screen below on your computer, select

EPSON Scan and click the Always use this program for this action box.

Then click

OK.

8. When you see the File Save Settings window, type a name for your file in the

Prefix box, select a file format in the Type box, and click OK.

Epson Scan starts and scans your image to the location you specified.
