2.3.9 Removing the Main Board Assy.

 Parts/Components must be removed to remove the Main Board Assy.

Paper Support Assy., Left Housing, Right Housing,

Panel Board Assy. (Panel Board and LCD Module), Upper Housing

 Disassembly Procedure

1. Unlock the carriage lock with tweezers and move the Carriage Unit to the

center.

2. Remove the two pieces of two-sided tape that secure the Panel FFC and LCD

FFC and disconnect the FFCs from the Main Board Assy.

3. Disconnect the other connector cables from the Main Board Assy.

4. Remove the two screws ( ) that secure the M/B Grounding Plate and

remove it.
