2. Press or to select Scan to PDF.
3. Do one of the following:
• If your printer is connected directly to your computer with a USB cable, select USB
Connection, then press OK.
• If your printer is connected to a network, press or to select your computer name from
the list, then press OK.
Your scanned image file is shown in Windows Explorer or Macintosh Finder.
Scan to E-mail
Before you begin, place your original
on the scanner glass.
1. Press the Scan button.
2. Press or to select Scan to Email.
3. Do one of the following:
• If your printer is connected directly to your computer with a USB cable, select USB
Connection, then press OK.
• If your printer is connected to a network, press or to select your computer name from
the list, then press OK.
4. When scanning is complete, you see this window:
