Now you can select a scan mode.
Scan From Another Program
Before you start, place your original on the scanner glass.
1. Start the program you want to use for scanning, and select its scanning option. (See your
scanning program help for instructions.)
Note:
In some programs, you must select your Epson printer as the “source” first. If you see a Select
Source option, choose it and select your Epson printer.
2. Select your Epson printer. Epson Scan starts automatically.
Note:
With Windows Vista or XP, do not choose a WIA option for your Epson printer; it will not
work correctly.
Now you can select a scan mode.
Scan from the Control Panel
The NX510 Series allows you to scan an image to your computer, attach it to an e-mail, or save it
as a PDF file. Before using this feature, make sure you’ve installed the NX510 Series software
and connected it to your computer or network.
Follow the steps in these sections to scan using the control panel:
Scan to PC
