Important Safety Instructions
Before using your Epson printer, read and follow these safety instructions:

General Safety
• Be sure to follow all warnings and instructions marked on your Epson printer.
• Use only the type of power source indicated on the printer label.
• Use only the power cord that comes with the printer. Use of another cord may cause fires or
shock. Do not use the cord with any other equipment.
• Place the printer near a wall outlet where the plug can be easily unplugged.
• If you won’t be using the printer for a long period, unplug the power cord from the electrical
outlet.
• Always turn off the printer using the On button, and wait until the On light stops
flashing before unplugging the printer or cutting off power to the electrical outlet.
• Avoid plugging the printer into an outlet on the same circuit as a photo copier or air control
system that regularly switches on and off, or on an outlet controlled by a wall switch or timer.
