• Make sure you’re using a compatible memory card and have inserted only one card into your
Epson printer. See Insert Memory Card
.
Cannot Transfer Files To/From Computer and Memory Card
• Make sure your Epson printer is securely connected to your computer and the card’s seal or
switch is set to allow writing to the card (if transferring files to the card). Then try transferring
the files again.
• If you installed the NX510 Series on a network, make sure that the File Sharing setting is set
to Read/Write.
• If you installed the NX510 Series on a network and are trying to access the memory card slots
in Mac OS X, you need to connect to the memory card slots before you can access them.
Memory Card Doesn’t Fit in the Slot
You may need to use an adapter with the card. See Insert Memory Card.

Nothing Prints, Even Though the On Light Is On
• Make sure the USB cable is connected securely at both ends and meets the requirements.
If you installed the Epson Stylus NX510 Series on a wired network, make sure the Ethernet
cable is securely connected at both ends.
If you installed the Epson Stylus NX510 Series on a wireless network, make sure that your
computer and the NX510 Series are connected to your wireless network.
• Run a printer check. If the test page prints, make sure your software is installed correctly.
Printing Noise Occurs, Even Though Nothing Prints
• Check to see if the print head nozzles are clogged.
• Your Epson printer won’t operate properly if it’s tilted or at an angle. Place it on a flat, stable
surface that extends beyond the base in all directions.
Noise Occurs When the Printer Sits for a While
Your Epson printer is performing routine maintenance.
No Printer Icon Appears in Windows Taskbar
Try restarting your computer. If you still don’t see the icon, follow these steps:
