Switching to the cut-sheet feeder
1. If any printed continuous paper remains in the printer, press the
Tear Off/Bin
button to advance the paper to the tear-off
position.
2. Tear off the printed pages.
3. Press the
Load/Eject
button. The printer feeds the paper
backward to the standby position. The paper is still attached to
the push tractor but is no longer in the paper path.
4. Move the printer’s paper release lever to the single-sheet position.
5. Move the cut-sheet feeder’s paper selection lever to the
single-sheet position.
Selecting single-sheets, postcards, or envelopes
You can select either single-sheet paper, postcards, or envelopes
using the lever on the first bin. You’ll see the icons next to the
lever. Move the lever to the proper position before loading your
paper.
