Notes on Using the Endorsement Mechanism
❏ The endorsement mechanism enables printing of endorsements on the back of a personal
check. Do not use paper that is over 101.6 mm {4"} in width. Otherwise, paper may be
jammed.
❏ Do not open any covers while the sequence of check reading and endorsement printing is
processed. Otherwise, the paper is not fed straight, causing paper jams and MICR reading
errors.
❏ Observe the same limitations as for slips for the position of paper holes and the reflection
ratio of the check.
