Copying Basics
1. Load paper in the printer.

Important:
When loading in the paper cassette, make the paper settings on the control panel.
When loading in the rear paper feed slot, do not load paper now. When you select the rear paper feed slot as
the paper source setting, and then press the
x
button, the printer will prompt you to load paper. Follow the
instructions to load the paper.
2. Place the originals.
3. Select Copy on the control panel.
4. Set the number of copies using - or +.
5. Select color copy or monochrome copy.
6. Check the settings such as the paper size and the paper type and change settings if necessary.
Note:
If you want to copy by reducing or enlarging the size of a document by a
specic
percentage, select Custom Size as the
Reduce/Enlarge setting, and enter a percentage on the screen displayed.
7. Press the
x
button. When printing from the rear paper feed slot, press the
x
button, and then load paper
when you are instructed to do so.

The number of copies
Enter the number of copies.
Preview
Shows a scanned image to preview the copy results.
