❏ Paper Conguration
Automatically displays the paper settings screen when paper is loaded. Disable this feature if you
always load the same size of paper and you do not want to make paper settings every time you load
paper. AirPrint is not available when this is disabled. Also, the printer does not warn you even if the
paper settings do not match the paper you loaded.
CD/DVD
Adjusts the printing position of a CD/DVD by moving up, down, le, or right to t.
Stickers
Adjusts the printing position of a photo sticker by moving up, down,
le,
or right to
t.
Thick Paper
Use this feature if ink smears and the paper gets dirty. When enabled, the printing speed may be slower.
Only enable this setting when ink smears. is feature is disabled when the power is turned o.
Sound
Adjusts the volume and turns sound on or o when you press buttons or an error occurs.
Quiet Mode
Reduces the noise the printer makes, however, this may reduce print speed. Depending on the paper
type and print quality settings you selected, there may be no dierence in the printer's noise level.
Screen Saver
By selecting Memory Card Data, photos are displayed sequentially when no operations are performed
for about three minutes.
Auto Power On
Turns on the printer automatically when it receives a print or scan job by USB-connection or a network
connection. Use the Power O Timer setting if you want the printer to automatically turn o when the
job is nished and a set time period has passed with no operations performed. is is useful when
printing from a remote location such as over the Internet. However, enabling Auto Power On increases
power consumption slightly in standby status when compared to turning the printer o completely.
Power O Timer
Automatically turns the printer o if no operations are performed for a set time period. You can adjust
the time before power management is applied. Any increase will
aect
the printer’s energy
eciency.
Please consider the environment before making any change.
Sleep Timer
Select the time period before the printer enters sleep mode (energy saving mode) when no operations
are performed. e LCD screen turns black when the set time passes.
Clear All Settings
Resets the settings in Printer Setup to their defaults.
