4.1.2 Installation with Firebird
Firebird is an open source database and has been selected by the EPO for several of its epoline
products. To view the database tables and the contents of these tables install the Firebird user
interface found on the CD in \EPOSCAN\Firebird\GUI.
Before installing epoScan, Firebird must be installed on the scan server and on scanning
workstation(s).
Note:
The order of installation on the client workstation is important, first Firebird and
then epoScan.
