The EPSON Stylus Pro 7000 comes with drivers that let you use the printer
in non-PostScript mode without a RIP and utilities that allow you to
manage background printing jobs. ICC profiles for ColorSync
®
3.0 are
included, so you can use advanced color management features of your
applications or the driver itself.
The driver CD-ROM also includes an electronic Reference Guide to your
printer and EPSON printer software. You can read the guide using a Web
browser, such as Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer,
versions 3.0 or later.
This chapter covers the following information:
•
Choosing page setup options
•
Choosing basic print options
•
Choosing advanced print options
•
Managing print jobs
Choosing Page Setup Options
Many of the Page Setup options correspond to paper handling features that
you can also set through the control panel. Software options give you
additional settings and override control panel settings. Follow these steps to
choose Page Setup options:
1. Choose
Page Setup
from the File menu of your application. You see
the Page Setup dialog box:
2. From the
Paper Size
list, select your image size (if you’re using roll
paper) or the size of your sheet. For paper size equivalents in inches, see
page 8-2. If your size is not listed, click
Customize
. Then enter the size
in hundredths of an inch (or centimeters).
Chapter 3:
Printing with
EPSON Drivers
for Macintosh
Click if your
paper size is
not listed.
Note
If you’re using roll paper
and you choose a paper
size that’s larger than
your image, the image
will be centered in the
space you selected.
