7-10 | Resolving Problems
•
Make sure the printer is not located in a brightly lit area. The paper
sensor may not be able to operate correctly.

Make sure the
Print Mode
or
Media Type
setting is correct for the
media you’re printing on.
•
Make sure the platen gap setting is correct for the paper or media you’re
printing on. See page 2-18 for more information.

If you’re not using EPSON media, make sure you register and select
your paper’s thickness. See page 2-21 for more information.
Solving Roll Paper Ejection Problems
If you are using the printer without the stand, tightly wound roll paper may
feed out with a curl. Extend the paper guides as shown below:
