64 Scanning to a Memory Card
4. Press the Slides Negatives button.
5. Use the u and d buttons to choose
Scan to Memory Card, then press the
OK button.
6. Select the film type you’ve loaded. If you’re scanning slides, select
Color slide.
If you’re scanning a film strip, select one of these options:
■ Color negative film (used in most cases)
■ B&W negative
■ Positive color film (strip)
Press OK after making your selection.
The RX700 previews your photos on its screen:
7. Use the l and r arrow buttons to highlight each photo. While a photo is
highlighted, use the
+ and – buttons to select it for scanning. A check mark
appears in the box for each selected photo.
8. When you’re done selecting photos, press
OK.
9. Choose
Normal (for good quality) or Photo (for best quality) as the Quality
option.
10. Press the x
Color button. Your photos are scanned and saved to the “epscan”
folder on your memory card.
11. When scanning is finished, you see a confirmation screen. Note the name
given to your image and its location on the card.
Caution:
Do not remove the card or turn off the Stylus Photo RX700 while the memory card light
is flashing, or you may lose data.
