Pull the tab straight out as shown below. Lift the
front edge of the printer and pull firmly to remove
the tab.

Place the printer near your computer and an available
grounded outlet, but avoid areas:
• with high temperature or humidity
• in direct sunlight or dusty conditions
• near sources of heat or electromagnetic
interference, such as the base of a cordless
telephone
Be sure to check for
other tape or packing
material, which may
be in slightly different
locations on your
printer.
