Generates the System Request function in some
application programs (used with mAltI).
Controls scrolling in some applications.
Suspends the current operation.

1 Stops the current operation (used with mctrll).
The [Lock], [Lock], and I=] keys work as toggles; press
the key once to turn on a function and again to turn it off. When
the function is enabled, the corresponding light in the upper
right corner of the keyboard is on.
Stopping a Command or Program
You may sometimes need to stop a command or program while
it is running. If you have entered an MS-DOS or application
program command that you want to stop, try one of the
following:
U Hold down the m key and press [cl
tl Hold down the m key and press [Break.
If these methods do not work, you may need to reset the
computer as described below. Do not turn off the computer to
exit a program or stop a command unless you have to, because
the computer erases any data you did not save.
