Changing the settings in SelecType mode
The following table shows the basic functions for the control
panel buttons while you are in SelecType mode.
Follow these steps to enter SelecType mode and change the
settings:
1. Make sure paper is loaded.
2. Press the Menu buttons (Tear Off and Top of Form) to enter
SelecType mode. The LCD displays the currently selected
language.
3. If the language you want is not selected, press the SetU
(Tear Off) or SetD (Top of Form) button until the LCD
displays the language you want.
4. Press the ItemD (Pitch) button to set the desired language.
Note:
The language you select is also used for other settings, modes, and
test printouts, such as Default-setting mode and printing a Hex
Dump.
5. You see Print Settings on the LCD. Press the SetD (Top of
Form) button to print the current settings.

(Menu) buttons
Enters or exits SelecType mode.
ItemU (Font) button Selects the previous menu parameter.
ItemD (Pitch) button Selects the next menu parameter.
SetU (Tear Off) button Selects the previous value in the selected menu.
SetD (Top of Form) button Selects the next value in the selected menu.
