2. Open the printer cover. Be sure to remove any pieces of paper
thatmayhavetornofforareremainingintheprinter.

Warning:
Be careful not to touch the fuser, which is marked
CAUTION! HIGH TEMPERATURE, or the surrounding
areas. If the printer has been in use, the fuser and the
surrounding areas may be very hot.
If necessary, remove the imaging cartridge and any paper left
in the paper feed path, and then reinsert the imaging
cartridge.
3. Close the printer cover.
4. Tap the stack of paper on a flat surface to even out the edges.
Then carefully reload it into the tray. (Do not reload curled or
wrinkled sheets.)
5. Close the MP tray if the paper loaded fits inside the printer.
The jammed page’s print data is automatically reprinted.
Clearing the standard lower paper cassette
Follow these steps to clear paper jams when using the standard
lower paper cassette:
