Installing a memory module
1. Make sure the printer is turned off and unplug the power
cord.

Warning:
To avoid electrical shock, do not attempt to install a DIMM
unless the printer is turned off.
2. Open the printer cover by pressing the latch, then remove the
printer’s right side cover.
3. Loosen the screws that secure the shield cover, then remove
the cover.
