38 Installing and Configuring the Software for Macintosh
Note:
To use the print server’s web-based configuration utility, start your web browser
and enter the print server’s IP address. For more information about the web-based
utility, visit EPSON’s web site at http://support.epson.com.
Installing the Software
1. Insert the printer software CD-ROM in your drive.
2. Macintosh OS X 10.1 to 10.3: Double-click the
EPSON CD-ROM icon to
open it. Then double-click the
EPSON OS X Installer icon.
Macintosh OS 8.6 to 9.x: Double-click the
OS 8 & 9 Installer icon in the
EPSON window. (If the window doesn’t open automatically, double-click the
EPSON icon on your desktop.)
You see this window:
3. Double-click
Install EPSON Stylus C84WN Printer Driver.
4. If you’re running Macintosh OS X, enter your administrator password, if
necessary.
5. Follow the instructions on the screen to install the driver and restart your
Macintosh.
