4.2.3.20 Removing the CR_HP Sensor
1. Remove the R Side Cover as described in “R Side Cover Removal 124.
2. Push the carriage lock using your finger to unlock the carriage and move the carriage
from the home position to the left. (Refer to the “Replacing the Printheads 151 step 3.)
3. Unlock three latches of the CR_HP sensor, then remove it.

4. Disconnect the cable connector of the CR_HP sensor.

C A U T I O N
n Confirm that is attached to the location that did the marking in
the advance on the occasion of the mounting of the PG motor.
n Confirm that the backlash of the motor gear and drive gear are
the same size on the occasion of the mounting of the PG motor.
