Using the Ethernet Card with OS/2
This chapter explains how to configure and use the Ethernet card with
an IBM OS/2 network. The instructions in this chapter are valid for
OS/2 Warp 3 and Warp 4 (OS/2 Warp Connect and OS/2 Warp
Server).

It is necessary to install the IBM OS/2 NetBIOS protocol.
Overall steps
Follow these basic steps for using the Ethernet card with OS/2. Go to
the indicated chapters for more information.
1. Install TCP/IP protocol or NetBEUI protocol if necessary.
2. Set the IP address using the arp command. See Chapter 3.
3. Configure the Ethernet card for printing. See this chapter.
