Printer Mechanism Disassembly
CR Motor Removal
1. Remove the printer mechanism (see page 3-17).
2. Release the tension spring.
3. Disengage the timing belt from the CR motor pinion and hang it on the nearby hook.
4. Remove the 2 carriage mounting screws securing the CR motor assembly to the right subframe, then
remove the CR motor.
5. Remove the 2 CB (M3 × 6) screws securing the CR motor to the motor bracket, then remove the CR
motor.
