Printhead
You can check for an open circuit in the printhead’s solenoid coils by using a multimeter and the table
below. Note that the test pin numbers shown in Figure 5-2 match the individual printhead solenoids (dot
wires).
Remove the printhead by following the instructions in Chapter 3. Be sure to perform the platen gap
adjustment after replacing or re-installing the printhead.
