Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you achieve satisfactory alignment. Alignment is correct when the vertical lines
on the H’s line up within the margins of error specified below (see

on Figure 4-4):
All modes Less than 0.05 mm (at the center of the test pattern)
Mode 0 Less than 0.3 mm (at the left and right sides of the test pattern)
Mode 1 Less than 0.2 mm (at the left and right sides of the test pattern)
Mode 4 Less than 0.05 mm (at the left and right sides of the test pattern)

to set the adjustment value for each mode.

Turn off the printer to store the Bi-D settings in the EEPROM.
