.2.2.2 Operations at Power-on

Pressing the specified switch (switches) while turning on the printer enables the following special

functions:

1. Self test

- Switches :

Load / Eject

while turning on the printer.

Function: Executes the printing LQ self test printing.

- Switch:

LF / FF

turning on the printer.

Function: Executes the Draft self test printing.

1. Data dump mode

Switches :

Load / Eject

and

LF / FF

switches at same time while turning on the printer.

Function: Executes the data dump function.

1. Clearing the line counter value for the ribbon life in the EEPROM

Switches:

Tear-off / Bin

and

Pause

at same time while turning on the printer.

Function: Clears the line counter value stored in the EEPROM.

1. Bi-D adjustment

Switches:

Pause

switch, while turning on the printer.

Function: Executes the Bi-D adjustment.
