4.3 CIRCUIT ADJUSTMENT

The BOARD ASSY.,

MAIN

(C062 MAIN BOARD) contains variable resistor VR1, which is used for

balancing the circuitry. When any of the following parts are replaced, the circuitry must be balanced

again by adjusting this variable resistance:

R14, RI 5, R13,

C8,

and VR 1

If the circuitry is not correctly balanced in this way, the CPU A\D converter fails to function normally

and printer operation is affected.

4.3.1 Adjustment Process

Attach a digital multimeter to the check terminal TP2

(Vref

voltage) on the BOARD ASSY., MAIN (C062

MAIN BOARD). Turn on printer power and turn variable resistor

VR1

until a reading of 4.741 V is

obtained.
