Error Codes
The printer indicates errors with the following beep codes:

5 beeps carriage error
After beeping, the printer goes off line and enters the error mode. If the printer has
detected a fatal error (indicated by 5 long beeps), you can find out what type of error
occurred by pressing the LOAD/EJECT or PAPER FEED button on the control
panel. The printer lights a FONT indicator to signal the type of error.
