1.3.2 Interface Specifications

This section only provides information which is specific to the LQ-2080.

For other information, refer to the LQ-2070 Service Manual.

1.3.2.1 Parallel Interface (Forward Channel)

Transmission mode: IEEE-1284 compatibility mode

Signal level: TTL compatible

(IEEE-1284 level 1 device)

Pin assignment: The pin assignment (forward channel) is

the same as for the LQ-2070 except for

the function of the pin below:

1.3.2.2 Parallel Interface (Reverse Channel)

Transmission mode: 8 bit parallel, IEEE-1284 nibble mode

Synchronization: Refer to the IEEE-1284 specification.

Handshaking: Refer to the IEEE-1284 specification.

Signal level: IEEE-1284 level 1 device

Data transmission timing: Refer to the IEEE-1284 specification.

Pin assignment: The pin assignment (reverse channel) is

the same as for the LQ-2070 except for

the functions of the pins below:
