Buttons and Lights
Note:
The control panel is designed to easily convey functions and operations.
Single button operations:
The Tear Off (o), LF/FF (d), Load/Eject (u), and Pause (
) buttons are designed to
perform common paper operations.
Button combinations: Activate [Menu] and [Reset] by using a combination of button operations.
Functions mode: Activate [Font] and [Micro Adjust] by holding down the
button for three
seconds.
1 Font lights (Blue) One of the lights turns on when the power is on. The lighting pattern indicates
the font that is selected on the printer.
2 Tear Off light (Blue) Flashes when continuous paper is in the tear off position.

(Functions mode)
Hold down the button for three seconds to enter [Font] select mode, and
then press the o button to change the font settings.

Tear Off button (o)
(Single button)
Advances continuous paper to the tear off position.
Feeds continuous paper backward from the tear off position to the top-of-form
position.
5[Menu]
(Button combinations)
Press both button o and d at the same time, the printer enters or exits the
Default Setting mode and you can set the various printer settings. For details,
see “About Your Printer’s Default Settings” on page 20.
