Note:
Paper information added using Epson Media Installer is
also added to Printer Settings - Custom Paper Setting on
the control panel.
You cannot change the paper information settings on the
control panel.
Notes on using the Adobe
®
PostScriptR 3
™
expansion unit
Make sure that the custom paper information registered
in the Adobe PostScript 3 expansion unit and in the
printer match. If the custom paper information does not
match, colors may not print correctly due to
inconsistencies in the paper settings between the Adobe
PostScript 3 expansion unit and the printer.
❏ When using the Adobe PostScript 3 expansion unit
for the first time
Delete any custom paper information that you have
already registered to the printer, and then add it
again once the Adobe PostScript 3 expansion unit is
installed.
❏ When adding or deleting custom forms while the
Adobe PostScript 3 expansion unit is removed
With the Adobe PostScript 3 expansion unit
installed, delete the custom form, and then add it
again.
Make custom paper settings on the
control panel
A
Select General Settings - Printer Settings -
Custom Paper Setting on the control panel.
B
Select a paper number from 1 to 30 to save the
settings.
C
Set the paper information.
Make sure you set the following items.
❏ Change Reference Paper
❏ Paper Thickness
❏ Roll Core Diameter (roll paper only)
❏ Paper Feed Offset
Note:
Paper Feed Offset is a function that allows you to
adjust the difference between the data size and the
print size.
Example:
When printing at a data size of 100 mm and a print
size of 101 mm, the offset is 1.0%. Therefore, you
would enter a value of -1.0%.
See the following for details on the other settings.
