Epson has just made photo printing easier
than ever before with the release of the
Epson PictureMate 500 portable photo
printer – the perfect printer for professional
photo prints anywhere, anytime.
Beautiful Photo Quality
With a maximum resolution of 5760 Optimised
dpi (when connected to the PC) using Resolution
Performance Management (RPM) technology, the
Epson PictureMate 500 can produce ink droplets
as small as 3pl. Playing a major part in the printer’s
professional quality print capabilities is its six-colour
(Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Photo Black, Red, Blue)
pigment ink system, which delivers extremely
smooth colour gradation and beautiful skin tones.
Building even further on the Epson PictureMate 500’s
professional quality photo printing is its ability to
produce beautiful True BorderFree
™

edge-to-edge
or classic border photos using a variety of tonal
effects, such as black-and-white or sepia.
Easy Connection
The Epson PictureMate 500 incorporates a wealth of features designed to
make printing images from cameras, computers and other devices simple,
straightforward and fast. With support for all major memory card formats
currently available, all that’s required is to insert the memory card / stick into
the appropriate slot, followed by a single press of the built-in Print button.
Your image files can then be viewed using the printer’s 2.4-inch colour LCD
screen and printed when and where you want them.
You can even access your photographs direct from PictBridge and USB Direct
Print-enabled cameras or you can attach the optional Bluetooth Photo Print
Adapter and connect wireless devices such as a mobile phone, PDA or notebook
computer. For direct-to-PC connections, the Epson PictureMate 500 features
broad support for Windows
®
and Macintosh
®
operating systems.
