During normal operation the following ERROR Messages may occur:

- Platen incorrectly installed
- No AGC ADJUST after
print head or platen

- Device electronic fault
- Encoder strip missing
- Horizontal drive fault
BUFFER OVERFLOW Handshake - Check CTR - CTS or
protocol error XON - XOFF protocol
- Repeat data transfer
PARITY ERROR Protocol error - Check protocol setting of
printer and host
- Repeat data transfer
FRAMING ERROR Protocol error - Check protocol setting of
printer and host
