During normal operation the following messages are displayed if a condition
exists which prevents normal operation of the printer:
Display That means... Cause / Action
LOCAL Printer is in OFFLINE Press [START/STOP] to
mode continue.
COVER OPEN Top cover is opened To continue close the cover
when printer is in and press [START/STOP]
READY or BUSY mode
LOAD BIN No paper in ASF Insert paper and press
(CI - 4050) cassette [START/STOP] to continue
LOAD No paper in tractor Insert paper and press
TRACTOR [START/STOP] to continue
LOAD Paper should be fed Printer starts automatically
MANUAL manually after receiving the paper
PAPER JAM... No paper movement To remove paper jam

TEAR OFF Paper path is not free Tear off paper and press
PAPER to continue. [START/STOP] to continue
REMOVE After printing a page Remove the page and press
PAPER when the output for cut [START/STOP] to continue
