Quick MACRO Selection
The 4 MACROs can be selected through quick select keys, when the printer is in
the READY mode. This function can only be used for a quick selection for the
following print jobs until the printer is switched off. It is not possible to save the
macro selection when using the quick selection function.
The following sequence of keys explain how to select macro 2:
KEY Display
1. [MACRO 2] MACRO 2 6
2. [RIGHT] [Y] MACRO 2 ’
3. [START/STOP] READY 2 IPP
Emulation Selection
The following emulations are included in the PM:
S EPSON LQ / ESC/P2 (Default) in Macro 1
S IBM Proprinter XL 24 in Macro 2
S IBM Proprinter XL 24 AGM in Macro 3
S EPSON LQ / ESC/P2 in Macro 4
The default configuration is ELQ Emulation in macro 1.
The display shows the selected macro and Emulation, for example:
READY 1 ELQ Macro 1 with Epson LQ / ESC/P2 Emulation
READY 2 IPP Macro 2 with IBM Proprinter Emulation
READY 3 AGM Macro 3 with IBM Proprinter AGM Emulation
READY 4 ELQ Macro 4 with Epson LQ / ESC/P2 Emulation
