MACROS
CI - 4040 or CI - 4050 MACROs are groups of user defined settings (such as
paper length, font, pitch etc.). There are 4 MACROs available and can be
activated by either the Operator Control Panel or software commands (see User
Manual for details).
The Factory Default settings for the 4 MACROs can be seen on pages before.
MACRO Configuration
There are two items in the OFFLINE MENU for macro configuration.
MACRO SELECT to activate a macro and CHANGE MACRO to define the
individual parameter settings. All parameter settings via the operator panel or via
software commands effect the currently selected MACRO. The currently
selected MACRO is shown by a * next to the MACRO number in the
Configuration print (see pages before). When switching on the printer the last
saved macro will be the current active MACRO. Once a MACRO setting
parameter has been changed, it must be saved before the printer is powered off,
or all changes will be lost. See page 25 how to save MACROs.
The following sequence of keys explain how to select macro 4 and change the
font in macro 4 to Letter Gothic:
