When you handle the card, be careful not to touch

any of the contacts on the circuit board, especially

along the gold edge connections. If you need to put

it down before installing it, place it with the

component side facing down on top of the original

packing.

Grip the card firmly by the top corners. Keep the

contact pins pointing down and the components

facing toward the inside of the main unit.

Now, insert the card straight down into the slot.

Place the tab at the bottom of the retaining

bracket into the corresponding notch at the back

of the computer.
