1. Selecteer Computer — More Applications... en selecteerGNOME Terminal op de Application
Browser.
2. Voer het volgende commando in, in het terminalvenster.
su
(Enter the administrator password)
lppasswd -g sys -a root
(Enter the password for authority as the printer administrator after the Enter password prompt.)
(Reenter the password for authority as the printer administrator after the Enter password again prompt.)

Voor Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 WS/5 Client
1. Selecteer Applications — System Tools — Terminal.
2. Voer het volgende commando in, in het terminalvenster om de afdrukwachtrij te wissen.
su
(Enter the administrator password)
/usr/sbin/lpadmin -x (Enter the print queue name)
3. Herhaal het bovenstaande commando voor alle wachtrijen voor hetzelfde model.
4. Voer het volgende commando in, in het terminalvenster.
