ON LINE:
On when the printer can receive and print data from
the computer. If this light flickers, the print head is
overheated. In this case. the printer waits until the
print head cools and then resumes printing.
SelecType:
The two SelecType lights indicate which font is
currently selected as indicated by the labels next to
each font name.
czc : DRAFT selected
OC : ROMAN selected
CC : SANS SERIF selected
CC : SLOT selected
When dratt is selected, neither light 1s on. When
Roman 1s selected, the left l&t IS on. iVhen Sans Sent
IS selected, the right light is on. When you are using an
optional font module font, both I&s are on.

ON LINE:
This button controls the pnnters on lxx ott lme
status. When the printer IS on hne. this light 1s on and
the printer can recewe and print data tram the
computer.
FORM FEED.
iVhen the printer 1s off Ime. press this button to r)ect a
smgle sheet ot paper or advance contmuous paper to
the top of the next page. 1Vhen the prmter 13 on line
press this button to wlect the character tent. See the
sectlon m this chapter on selecting a tent with
SelecType
LINE FEED.
LVhen the prmter IS off lme. press tht3 button to weu
!hc paper one Ime. or hold It down to teed paper
contmuousiv. After tnsertmg a smgle sheet while the
PAPER OUT Ilght IS on press this button to
automat&Iv load the paper.
