General Repair Information
This chapter describes how to disassemble and assemble the printer’s main
components.
WARNING
l
Always disconnect the AC power cord before you disassemble or assemble
the printer.
l
When you disassemble or assemble the printer, wear gloves so that you
do not cut your hands on the printer mechanism or the edge of a plate, such
as the ground plate.
CAUTION
I
The LQ-200/AP3000 uses plastic clips instead of screws to hold the printer
mechanism, some boards, and other parts in place. Be careful not to damage
the plastic clips when you remove these parts.
