This option sets the number of data bits in each character of
information sent to the printer.
PARITY = NONE*

This option sets the parity bit, which provides a basic form of error
detection.
STOP BIT = 1*

This option sets the number of stop bits on each character of
information sent to the printer. Stop bits signal the end of a
character.
ROBUST-XON = ON*

OFF
When this option is set to ON, additional Xon’s are transmitted at
one-second intervals until data is received. Only one Xon is
transmitted when this option is set to OFF. This option should
normally be set to ON, since most computers run using the ON
setting.
