Problem
Solution
The selected font, page
layout, or other settings
are not printing as
expected.
Data remains in the
buffer after printing.
The message
DATA IN BUFFER
appears in the display
after a document has
been printed.
Your application software’s settings
may not be selected properly. See that
your software is correctly set up for
your printer.
Your application program may be
changing SelecType settings. Use the
program’s setup procedure to remove
codes that interfere with SelecType, or
use the printer control codes for your
application program instead of
SelecType. (See your software
manual.)
Some data remains in the printer’s
buffer. Press the CONTINUE/RESET
button to print the data. You should
make sure that your software sends a
Form Feed (FF) command at the end of
each page.
