Removing a font
cartridge-
To remove a font cartridge, follow these
steps:
1. Press the ON LINE button to set the printer off line.
CAUTION: Never insert or remove the cartridge while the
printer is on line.
2. Hold the edges of the cartridge and slowly pull it from the slot.
3. Press the ON LINE button to set the printer on line.
Reset
In HP emulation mode, you can reset the printer in the following
three ways:
l By turning the power off and then back on
l By holding down the CONTINUE/RESET button for three seconds
(with the printer off line)
l By sending the ESC E command.
The result varies depending upon which method you use, as shown
in the table on the next page.
