Other common uses for these buttons are as follows:
Q
On Line
Press to set the printer on line after you
reload paper. (The printer is off line when
the paper is out.)
P
Reset
Press to stop printing or to clear remaining
data.
P
Form Feed
Press to print out data in the printer’s
memory. (This button ejects the page even
though the printer has not received a form
feed command.)
Changing the language of display messages
By default, the display messages are in English as are the status
sheet and font sample printouts; however, you can change the
language to any one of the following: French, German, Italian,
Spanish, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Dutch, Finnish, or
Portuguese.
To change the language of display messages:
1.
Turn off the printer.
2.
While
holding down the
Menu
button, turn on the printer.
Do
not release the
Menu
button until the display shows
CONFIG LANGUAGE.
3. Press the arrow button to select the language you want to use.
4.
Once the language you want to use is displayed, press the
Enter
button to save the new setting.
5. Hold down the
Alt
button and press
Reset
to update the
printer for the new language.
