These Instructions supplement the Concentrator plus/Vacufuge
®
plus operating manual. They
do not replace it. Be sure to read the operating manual before you begin to use the rotor. The
current operating manual version is available on the Internet at www.eppendorf.com.
You can stack two of these rotors in any combination, with a spacer sandwiched between them,
and centrifuge with both at the same time.
When using in combination, the maximum load is reduced:
Lower rotor: 2/3 of nominal maximum.
Upper rotor: 1/3 of nominal maximum.
When the rotor feet are mounted, you can set
the rotor down on the workbench without
forcing the tubes out of their holes.
These rotor feet can remain mounted during
centrifugation.
Screw the three rotor feet onto the rotor at
the holes provided.
