13.2 Changing the device name
The Device name window contains information on the status and the configuration of the epMotion. The
Nickname field contains the name of the epMotion. The serial number will be assigned as the name by
default. You can change the name of the device.
You can check the settings if you are logged in as an administrator.

Prerequisites
• You are logged in as administrator.
• epBlue is started.
1. Select the Settings symbol on the start screen.
2. Select the Detail Information function in the Settings tab.
The Detail Information window will appear.
3. Change the device name in the Nickname field.
4. To save the changes, press the Save button.
