5-2 Boot Device Configuration
Selecting the “BOOT DEVICE OPTIONS” in the CONFIGURE/VIEW HOST
ADAPTER SETTINGS menu allows users to change settings related to booting the
system using SCSI devices. (Note: To allow the system to boot to a SCSI device you
must also configure the Award BIOS. The “Boot Sequence” options in the Award
BIOS must allow SCSI to be booted to. See page 4-5.)

Boot SCSI ID: The field selects what SCSI device (based upon its ID) you wish
the system to boot from.
The default value is 0.
Options: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15.
Boot LUN Number: This field specifies which LUN to boot from on the boot
device if multiple LUNs are supported and Multiple LUN Support field is enabled.
The default is 0.
Options: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7.
