Charging and Discharging
Your phone is powered by a rechargeable battery, and also a power adaptor. Note that full performance of a new
battery is achieved only after two or three complete charge and discharge cycles! The battery can be charged
and discharged hundreds of times but it will eventually wear out. When the operating time (talk-time and
standby time) is noticeably shorter than normal, it is time to buy a new battery. Use only batteries approved by
the phone manufacturer and recharge your battery only with the chargers approved by the manufacturer.
Temperature extremes can affect the ability of your battery to charge. Battery will not charge at temperatures
above 140°F (60°C).
Check the model number of any charger before use with this device. This device is intended for use when
supplied with power from the devices listed on the following pages. Warning! Use only batteries, chargers, and
accessories approved by SIT for use with this particular phone model. The use of any other types may invalidate
any approval or warranty applying to the phone and may be dangerous. For availability of approved accessories,
please check with your dealer. When you disconnect the power cord of any accessory, grasp and pull the plug,
not the cord.
