b. If the “Current Value” is greater than 20% (relative) of the calibration gas value, then the Trimble handheld
computer will display the following message “Verify calibration gas value and/or restore factory calibration”.
The user may restore the factory calibration by taping the “Restore Factory Calibration” button on the
“Calibration … Span” screen. The user should then try to recalibrate.
c. If the Verify warning still appears after restoring factory calibration and verifying the calibration gas then the
user should contact Elkins Earthworks® technical support at 330-725-7766.
