NOTE: Use either a square or an octagonal outlet box cover depending on the shape
of your outlet box.
CORD WITH PLUG (Fig. 8a):
1. Slide the fitting over the cord.
2. Use wire nuts to connect the cord wires from the power plug to the fixture wires.
3. Use the fitting to connect the cord to the knockout (C).
4. Mount the receptacle to the outlet box cover.
5. Connect the wires from the receptacle to the supply wires in the outlet box.
6. Mount the outlet box cover to the outlet box using mounting screws.
7. Plug the cord into the receptacle.
HARDWIRED CORD (Fig. 8b):
1. Slide the fitting over the cord.
2. Attach one end of the SOOW Cord to the fixture wires inside the fixture. Push the
connections into the fixture
3. Use a fitting to secure the cord to the fixture.
4. Connect the outlet box cover to the opposite end of the cord using a fitting.
5. Connect the supply wires from the outlet box to the cord wires using wire nuts.
Push the connections into the outlet box.
6. Mount the outlet box cover using mounting screws.

FINISHING INSTALLATION
1. Turn the lock pin (A) and squeeze the
channel at the markers shown to install the
channel cover on each side. (Fig. 9)
2. To install the tube lamp, guide the pins on
one end of the lamp into one socket. Make
sure that the powered end of the tube is
placed on the powered end of the fixture.
Guide the other end of the tube into the
opposite socket. Rotate the tube 90° (1/4
turn) in either direction until seated. (Fig. 10 &
Fig. 11)
3. Turn on the power.

EXTENDING THE FIXTURE
NOTE: The length of the fixture can be extended
by coupling it with an additional fixture (either the
4ft. or 8ft. Version).
1. Using the row mounting tab (E) from the
metal end plate insert it into the slots provided
at the end of the main channel housing. (Fig.
12a) Ensure locking tabs are facing the
locking tab hole provided in the main housing
body. Slide the row mounting tab (E) into the
slot until an audible click is heard. (Fig. 12b)
